General Lighting
It is the main light to view and navigate through a room without hassle of shadows or bright areas more or less, and generally uses a light spot above the eye, hanging from the ceiling or wall sconces. (You can also use a gorge on the wall a few inches from the ceiling, light tubes directed upwards.) It is important that the general lighting can be turned on and off from the entrance of the room.
When planning for general illumination must be careful not to create shadows or sharp contrasts between rooms, light being the best partner for all environments, especially in areas and stairs. Bright light causes energy and vitality or diffuse soft light tends to relax and to sleep. An excellent resource to handle the intensity of light according to the occasion is to put a dimmer switch or dimmer with the ignition key.
